Directed by Baran Sarmad, the short is to vie at the 27th edition of the British festival in Bristol City.
The 12-minute film is about Roya, a girl who has a yellow spot on her face.
One day she feels the signs of a real giraffe within and her life starts to change gradually.
“She sees her spots. She hears her voice and she feels her,” a tagline for ‘Spotted Yellow’ reads.
According to Sarmad, the flick is about a girl who has a dream and does whatever it takes to achieve the longing.
Shadi Karamroudi is the only actress in the flick.
